Grandma's sewing machine

My sewing machine got broke(Chunky)about a year ago. Everytime I needed to sew something I ended up at Kellie's house. Which has been a lot of fun, but not as easy as having your own machine. So I decided I wanted to make Easter ties for my boys. I was going to ask my Mom if I could sew them over there and then it came to me....My Grandma's sewing machine was in my parents garage. It's been there since she passed away 6 and a half years ago. No one took it because Marci and I had our own. My Dad said he just couldn't throw it away. I'm very glad. I have so many wonderful memories of sewing outfit with my G-ma with that machine. I was just praying it would still work after all these years. It worked greated and I remembered how it thread it and everything. So thanks to my parents for giving me such a wonderful gift. It reminds me that my G-ma is still here watching over me.

Family Night.....What I bought on ebay!

My kids LOVE this song. They listen to it all the time.

Spring Fling at the park

So we really did try to go to the Great American clean up. Only we thought it started at 10am. When we got to the church no one was there and the note on the door said it was from 8 to 10. So instead of the day being a total wash we cleaned the church for an hour and then went to the Park for the Spring Fling.
As Breyson calls them.... My Boys

Fav Foto Friday.....Little reminders that I Live in Bako!

These just kill me. Just when I think Bako is maybe not so 08ish this comes home from school. The spring picture proofs. Does anyone seriously buy these? Or maybe they buy them to have a good laugh later on in life. Who comes up with these cheesey backgrounds. Did they work at Sears in the early 80's? Sad, just sad.

Chunky is enjoying Britton's grounding

At my house when you get grounded you really get grounded. No Friends, No TV, No Computer, No Ipod and worst of all.... you have to swing your little brother on the swing for as long as the 3 year old wants to. giggle

I LOVE natural consequences!

Have you ever looked at your kids and thought....How will they EVER make it on their own? I do this just about every day with mine. So anyways, I'm sitting in church on Sunday when I look down and notice this. My 11 year old son wearing(I used this word loosely because they are 3 sizes too small)my 8 year old sons school shoes at church. I ask him wHere his shoes are. He tells me he used them at school on Friday and forgot them there. So what he's trying to tell me is instead of coming to me and telling me this. (knowing I'm going to be annoyed) He chooses to try and hide it. At this point I am soo mad. I tell him he has to go home. He says ok because his feet are killing him. (natural consequences) Robert decides he needs to stay at church and march him into his 11 year old all boys class and show everyone Britton's bad choice. Of course Dana sitting behind me reminded me that this needed to be Blogged!

For our March joint Activity we played Human Fooseball.

I'm grateful that no one lost their heads during the games. Balls were flying everywhere. I think everyone got kicked in the face at least once. All said I believe they had a great time.

I Have great news........

Ok, so this is one of those 'glass half full' kind of moments. Yes, there is a huge black blob at the bottom of the screen and yes, there is green and red lines on the picture. But at least we can see the top of the pictures and after a while of watching it, you really dont notice it that much.(Robert doesn't agree with this comment)

Fav Foto Friday

I wish going to to bathroom was this relaxing to me.

Britton getting a pie (almost) in the face.

Britton agreed to have a pie thrown in his face for Dr. Seuss week. All the kids who read got a chance to throw a pie at a teacher or Student council member.

Chick-fil-a in Bako!

Emily called and said the New Chick fil a was open and had a play area in the back of it. We are soooo all over that. That bad new is...so was everyone else. It was pretty busy. It was fun and I got to see a few of my favorite people.

Why do we buy nice things when we have a 3 year old living with us?

Just so you know (in case you own one) LCD TV screens CAN NOT be repaired! So don't let your little children pull chairs up in front of them and reach for something on top of them. This might keep the chair from falling backwards into them. Lesson learned!!! (also buying the Ins. might have helped!) Good new.... They are about half the price now then when we bought it, so replacing it won't hurt so much. (It still hurts!!)

Family night!

5 paper airplanes each, 3 different rounds and style counts!!

The Weekend!

This is one of those things that you would NEVER allow your first child to do, but by the 3rd your willing to try anything to get through sacrament.
Happy Birthday Christion!
Stamped the movie at the Fox theater. This was alot of fun and I received my 6 seconds of fame. Thanks to Bryce for allowing me to be a part of this. I guess I can cross 'be in a movie' off my bucket list.
Thursday night was the Blue and Gold dinner for Brady. It was great. Dana and Dana did a great job.(Who is that HOT Den Mom?)
