Personal Progress night!

This week we did Pies, pedicures and Personal Progress. (You like how we slipped Personal Progress in there at the end.) I'm all about making Personal Progress nights fun. I think the girls had fun, I did. If any of you have ideas for PP nights let me know. Thanks

New Beginnings 2009

Our theme this year was Daughters of Royal Birth. So of course we had to have little tiara cupcakes and a Fairy Tale. It was short, sweet and to the point. I think the girls had fun and they did a great job on their parts and music numbers. Thanks to my leaders for their help and my girls for loving one another. We truely have a special group of girls.

Beach in January?

I have realized the last couple of years that the best time for Pismo is the winter months. It was a little over 70 degrees on Saturday and perfect beach weather. Robert and Britton threw on their wet suits and they were off. The waves were huge. (ok, not Hawaii huge, but Pismo huge) If you haven't tried Pismo in January you should.

I'm not a big fan of the beach. The worst part is hauling everything down to the beach and then 2 hours later hauling it all back. Pismo is great for the fact that you can drive on to the beach open the back hatch and your done. Love that!

Our 14th 'Family'Anniversary

So I was telling Britton and Brady yesterday morning that it was Mom and Dad's Wedding Anniversary that day. Britton makes the comment that lets change it to our Family anniversary so that we could all go to dinner. I kind of laughed, but it made me think. It really is our Family anniversary. After all it's the day we started our family. So we went to dinner with everyone. (Next year Rob and I are taking it back!!)
At PF Changs they give the Kids these bending, sticky,plastic sticks you can shape into anything. Way cooler then crayons!

New years Eve 2008

We had a fun family New Years Eve. Normally we have a big party and have lots of people here. This year my family is in town so we toned it down to a family party. Dinner, Phase 10 card game with the family (Dad is a little cut throat) and fireworks.
My hubbie always saves a few fireworks from the 4th of July to set off on New Years Eve. The kids love it!!
